ARCHER
In 2000, Archer started making a name for himself in the industry by playing his Congas/Drums in Untraditional Ways. He quickly got noticed and began playing on numerous circuits that included everything from Folk, Hip Hop, Funk, Rap Rock, Dance, and Spoken Word shows. Working with this diverse talent pool helped him really cross pollinate styles, and introduce different methods to each group.
"I remember one time when I was doing a Jam Band Festival with Dave Daniels, and the audience went nuts when I started to play my congas with my arms behind my back, and then I started to scratch on the drums like a DJ. I picked this up from working with Hip Hop DJs, but when I applied it to Folk/Jam Band Music the place blew up, it was great."
While Archer still works with Artists in the studio, his true passion is Live Performance and You'll be able to tell from the moment he starts.
