Starting in the 1970's, when DJ's started to take over the club scene, the Musicians' Unions insisted that the DJ had to have a Musician with him/her in order to perform at the clubs. Naturally, the DJ's chose to add Drums since both art forms are deeply Rooted in Rhythm. Started by Archer in 2000, Side Project has continually raised the bar on this form of expression, and has helped to bring it to the forefront of Live Entertainment.
